In other words, there is no point for me to use this thing as its quality alters people’s voices, I wasn’t able to recognize a friend’s voice with this and vise versa.

Moving on to design, it is pretty yet the plastic piece around the ear though comfortable for a good hour can be irritating after. The fact that it is plastic is another annoyance as it is very fragile and will for sure break. There are no spare ones in the box either.

All in all, this device packs a good 8 hour battery life and offers you less voice quality for your xbox chatting and strangely enough, a similar performance on phones and PC’s as I have tested.

Gadget buffs always like to know what’s going on in the world of technology. They keep themselves posted on various news articles about International gadget exhibitions and other technology conferences and events such as Consumer Electronics Show, Mobile World Congress and even the comparatively less popular Computex Taipei event. This year’s Computex Taipei event showcased devices from the brand Malata.

Malata, along with Wanlida is quite popular in China for manufacturing good quality electronic devices that are also not far behind than the best in the business, in terms of performance and features. Reports claim that Malata/Wanlida released a roadmap recently for the year 2012 till 2013. The Roadmap had a lot of tablets and other interesting mobile devices, with some good looking designs.

The Malata SMB-B1023, a simple but gorgeous looking tablet, as it is equipped with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The SMB-B1023 runs in the Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google’s Android operating system. It sports Bluetooth, 3G and WiFi connectivity. The sleek tablet will be available in three models differing only in the display sizes that are 7, 9.7 and 10.1 inches.

People who would like a lot of ports in their tablet can make use of another model of the Malata, resembling the SMB-B1023 in design. This tablet also comes in three models with different display sizes, sporting card reader, USB, miniUSB Dock & port. Another tablet in the roadmap would come in handy for those people who have to take a lot of notes. They can use stylus in this tablet which comes in two models with 7 inch and 8 inch displays. The digitizer stylus and other features in the tablet, and the barely visible square lines on the tablet would allow the users to take notes instantly as like using a notebook and a pen.

There are also devices which would attract people who aren’t able to afford a high end tablet like SMB-B1023. One such cheap tablet is the same as the SMB-B1023 with a difference in the processor – Rockchip RK2918 SoC single core ARM A8 instead of NVIDIA Tegra 3. 1.2 GHz will be the clock speed reportedly. The OS would probably be a lower version rather than Android v3.2 Honeycomb. In addition to many tablets, the roadmap also featured a smartphone.

The Malata android smartphone or a phoneblet may be, features a huge 5 inch high resolution display and is reported to be running in Google Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system. There will be built-in GPS modules and Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G connectivity supports in the handset. Price details and more of the technical specifications of the handset still remain undisclosed. But it looks like it has enough potential to give Samsung Galaxy Note and LG Optimus Vu, a run for their money.
